Cannot see my list

I had built up quite a long list of favourite items over time, but although I can see the heart in the top-right corner with "44" shown in it, I cannot see the 44 items themselves - although when I call one up on screen, the little tick has replaced the default plus sign. When I try to add something new to my list, it says I do not have a list and I am told to Create List - but it will not create one - I have tried multiple times! Because of the invisibility of my list, presumably, I am no longer receiving e-mails showing price changes to my listed items, which seriously reduces the usefulness of the web site.
