Is there any point reporting price errors?

Very useful site but any time I have reported price errors they have NEVER been corrected. I assume the 'report error' option is just there to fool people into thinking more care is taken over pricing than is genuine? Most recently a lot of errors with Ebay listings where price shown is actually for a smaller size. People not paying attention may even order it. See Redbull 12 pack being priced at £10.49 on Trolley but is actually the 8 pack on Ebay.
