Search is broken

Bug: Search is broken on safari for larger screen sizes. When submitting the form (not selecting an item from the dropdown) it will send an http request with an empty string as the query. This only happens on larger screen sizes and on safari. If you reduce screen size then it works as expected. Reproduction: https://play.fastmotion.io/e86be52d-aae8-4ab5-a914-2cf6579700b4
